BEFORE: Orthodontics is the procedure by which teeth are moved into better and straighter allignment with the use of braces. However, sometimes, people do not have the time to have braces (which may take between 18-24 months) or do not want to wear braces. This lady wanted to have her irregular smile improved without the use of braces.

AFTER: The lady was treated with ceramic veneers to reshape her teeth and give the appearance of a straighter, more uniform smile. The treatment took only two weeks to complete and only cost a little more than a full course of orthodontic treatment. The result was excellent and the patient's smile was improved dramatically. It should be noted that whilst restorative procedures can be used to improve the appearance of a persons smile, Orthodontics should always be considered as the first choice for straightening teeth.
